They overlay colored fabric frames to create scenes of unreal beauty

If you are among those who think that a good day starts with a good dose of colors, then you will undoubtedly fall in love with the artistic project initiated by the duo of Swiss artists Quintessenz. Thomas Granseuer and Tomislav Topic of Quintessenz have several points in common: the practice of graffiti, the use of textiles, the use of digital and of course an unconditional love for the fine arts.

These two artists combine everyday their know-how to create installations both beautiful and surprisingcomposed of fabric frames of different colors which give rise to sublime and almost unreal staging. And what they love above all is to stage these installations in old or totally atypical places.

So, the duo Quintessenz could work in unusual places like the island of Paxos, in a ruin more than 400 years old. They also gave life to the installation "Flickering Lights" on the occasion of Berlin Fashion Week in 2018, or at the installation "Lost Paradise" initiated to Baux-de-Provence in 2017. For each of these installations, the two artists use dyed or spray-painted fabrics in a range of color layers that interact perfectly with each other. the surrounding light.

Quintessenz gives life to chromatic works of an almost unreal beauty, which sometimes give the illusion of being composed of pixels so much that we no longer know if we are dealing with a digital work or a beautiful and very real creation. We let you discover below the different compositions of the duo, and of course we invite you to visit their Instagram account to find out more about their art.
