With 10 million copies sold in the first 9 months of its launch, the Nintendo Switch one of the biggest successes in the video games. Its hybrid model that allows both use as a portable console or as a home console has appealed to consumers around the world, and visibly, Nintendo do not plan to stop there for 2018. The Japanese firm revealed yesterday "Nintendo Labo", a new creative game experience for his Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo unveils new baptized accessories "Toy-Cons". Behind this name, simply hide cardboard accessories to build themselves that will come to upgrade the gaming experience. It will thus be possible to create a piano, a motorbike, a fishing rod and even a robotwith simple cardboard mountings. Then slide the console screen and the Joy-Cons (the detachable levers) to let the magic work.
Thanks to its recognition capabilities, the Joy-Cons will track your movements. They will for example be able to know which piano key you press to change the game on the screen. In short, Nintendo proves that by diverting his technology and using simple DIY cardboard montagesit is possible to create new innovative gaming experiences.
Kits "Nintendo Labo" will only be available in April 2018 from 69.99 euros(with of course the games that work with). You will find more information on the official website of the manufacturer. We appreciate the creative approach of Nintendo who comes to prove that we can innovate in a very simple way in the world of video games, without giving rise to expensive experiences with impressive graphics.
