In Creapills, We like to share with you the creative ideas that we detect on a daily basis, and in particular the brilliant short films we discover or that are offered to us by the créanautes. Today, zoom on the work of the French Vincent Gibaud and his short film"The Night I Dance with Death". The subject of this film is delicate because it deals with drugs and more precisely the effects of bad trip, in other words this "bad experience" experienced by the taking of hallucinogenic drugs.
It is on this theme obviously very permissive that Vincent Gibaud has materialized a nightmarish and liberating adventure lived by a man who is bored in the evening and who, in a disillusioned way, takes drugs at the suggestion of one of the guests.
A graphic feat of more than5 minutes truly impressive that plunges us into a scary and beautiful world, calm and excited at the same time. To finance his project, Vincent launched a fundraising campaign in 2016 on KissKissBankBank which allowed him to regroup near 7 000 euros near 79 people.
Critically acclaimed, this film has already been selected in dozens of festivals, the full list of which can be found on Vimeo page where is the video hosted. Video that has been watched over 70,000 times in 2 weeks and which shows once again the French talent in the realization of animations. Yesterday again, you were offered to discover another achievement, this time of 4 French students, around a much lighter topic: the origin of bad breath in the morning when you wake up !
