The hateful messages of social networks transposed into real life

Today, social networks are ubiquitous part of our lives. We are very much in having an account Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and we spend most of our time on it discussing and sharing messages with our loved ones or strangers. However, some people do not behave on social networks like in real life. Hidden behind their screen, they can sometimes show a rare wickedness that they would never allow themselves face to face.

the United States, the agency BBDO New York put in placee a most poignant social experience named "In Real Life". In the street, different individuals went to meet perfect strangers to make hateful remarks. In the program : racism, homophobia and insults based on physical appearance. Of course, such a scene in the street challenges passersby who can not remain marble ...

We finally learn in the end that all this is a stunt and that the aggressors and the victims are actually actors. The purpose of this operation, as you will have understood, is to raise awareness about violence and hatred on social networks. Finally, if you do not say things in real life, why say them on the web? An interesting operation that also aims to promote the #BeStrong mobile app, an emoji keyboard that fights against cyber harassment.
