We know it well: the curiosity is an ugly fault. This is, among other things, what tells us this terrifying short film, of just4 minutes. The kind of little creation we love because it has the power to quickly put us in a special mood to provide us with one of the sensations that we love paradoxically the most: the fear.
In this little film called "The Rizzle" (which means in French "Le Sizzling"), we follow the story of a girl, apparently passionate about 20s, who spends his evening devouring videos on the subject. A small film produced on the occasion of"Huluween", a horror film festival set up by society Hulu, which publishes a video service on demand in the USA. Much appreciated, the video seems to have won the votes of the public, as we can see in the comments.
This short film is based on a phenomenon of today well known, the binge-watching, a practice of watching TV or any other screen for longer periods of time than usual ... like when you spend hours discovering new videos on Youtube.
A creation that will remind fans of the genre the concept of cult genre film, "The Ring", where a viral video curses the person looking at it. Here, the terror is progressive, even if the atmosphere is immediately heavy and uncomfortable, with a rather dark decor. Everything we love ! Anyway, now, we will think twice before clicking on shady stuff ... Not you?
Finally for the curious who want to know more about the realization of this short film, you will find the making-of here. And if you feel like continuing to scare yourself, we recommend you check out our creative discoveries about short horror movies.
