À Paris, and more generally in large cities, we tend to think and act very egocentric. Everything goes fast, very fast and we do not have time to worry about others. Unfortunately, it is a sad observation of our contemporary society that shows that we have accumulated some delay in good manners over the years.
A subject that the director and actress Maylis of Poncins approaches in the best way in "I am so you are", his short film of 2min30 realized as part of Nikon Film Festival. This short film is about lack of good manners gangrene our daily life: the fact of not being kind, to jostle others, to worry only about oneself ... And the worst part of all this is that this "bad mood" is contagious.
The director here symbolizes this "contagion" through a black ball which is transmitted from protagonist to protagonist and perpetuates this lack of savoir vivre ... The rest, we let you discover it!
A superb short film made on the occasion of the last edition of the Nikon Film Festival and who should, no doubt, speak to many of you. The short film is part of 50 finalists and has every chance of winning a prize ... if not many. That's all you want in any case to its director Maylis of Poncins !
