The typography serving the pedagogy ? Here is in any case a very good idea of an artistic project that aims to explain, in the simplest of ways and thanks to typography, what are the neurological diseases and the mental disorders. Neurological and degenerative diseases are scary, and for good reason: we often have trouble understanding them. They are often way too much blurry and abstract to apprehend them, then an artist had the idea to clarify these different unrest, whether they be psychic or purely physical.
The artist Igor Kupec, better known as the pseudonym Inak Ticho, knew in his youth various episodes of disorders psychiatric. This passionate of calligraphy so had the idea to explain the diseases neurological and mental disorders in its own way, by illustrating them with letters and force is to note that it is rather effective.
For example, it illustrates the Parkinson disease with letters that tremble, while for the Alzheimer's diseasehe chooses to forget the end of the word. The depression is illustrated with a literally collapsed typography, while theanorexia is unveiled with an extremely fine writing font.
