The story of this little dragon unable to spit fire is a great lesson in perseverance

When we think about dragonsNaturally, we have in mind the image of enormous frightening and menacing creatures capable of spitting huge flames that destroy everything in their path. But not all dragons are so evil, no. There are even some who are adorable in the image ofAchoo, a little blue dragon visibly incapable of spitting fire.

Directed by 6 students of theESMA (Higher School of Arts and Crafts) and unveiled on the school's YouTube channel in 2018, Achoo is a tasty short film of 6 minutes that literally made us crack and we are happy to share today.

This fairy tale unfolds in China and presents the story of Achoo, a small, cold dragon, more apt to spit ... snot than fire. A real problem because, like all the dragons, he dreams of being selected to receive the ultimate reward: scroll during the Chinese New Year in front of admiring humans and amazed by these fantastic creatures.

Everything is great in this short film. The story is fun and hides many small details that make you smile. The animation is of a very high quality and the music is perfect (just like the sound effects). Achoo hides also a little morality on perseverance and a final intelligent twist as we always like to discover in this kind of small animated fables.

The film was directed by Lucas Boutrot, Elise Carret, Maori Creantor, Pierre Hubert, Camille Lacroix and Charlotte Perroux, all students at ESMA promo 2017. The music was composed by Raphaël Joffres and the sound effects by José Vicente and Yoann Poncet of the Airman's Studio. As for the voice, does not it tell you anything? Are you sure? It is that of Benoît Allemane, a French comedian specialized in dubbing who is the French voice of ... Morgan Freeman.
