The Salvation Army creates "homeless places" to raise awareness at the end of the winter break

As every year, the March, 31st sign the end of the winter break. Thousands of accommodations will close and this year in France, these are at least 8000 people in emergency, including women with children, who will end up on the street.

To raise awareness of this human tragedy, the Salvation Army Foundation collaborated with the agency VMLY & R Paris to set up a punch operation. The idea: physically materialize the only place reserved for homeless people ... to know the street.

Dozens of ground markings were made in the capital, in order to physically delimit the place reserved for homeless at the end of winter, that is most of the time a simple piece of sidewalk. A situation this man experienced, whose video was shared on the Twitter account of the humanitarian organization.

For thousands of people, like Ferdinand welcomed by the Salvation Army, the end of the winter break marks the beginning of anguish! # EndWinterTrend #Home #Exclusion #TheLane #LaSeulePlace # 31mars pic.twitter.com/BhDrmBgNoz

An operation strongly symbolic, which aims to alert public opinion and authorities to the humanitarian risks posed by the end of this winter break. If you also want to get the message across, do not hesitate to take pictures of the brands of theSalvation Army that you will come across to share them on Twitter with the hashtag #LaSeulePlace.
